10 Days Kenya Adventure Safari

Embark on a 10-day magical expedition to witness the breathtaking roof of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, and the majestic herds of elephants at Amboseli. Journey through the Rift Valley lakes, including Lake Naivasha, famous for its vibrant flower farms and Hell's Gate National Park, and Lake Nakuru, renowned for its rhinos and flamingos. Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu

Depart from Nairobi and head north, covering approximately 310 km on a scenic journey through lush tea, coffee, and sisal plantations. Enjoy a stopover to marvel at the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya. Continue past the equator into the semi-arid landscape of Samburu. Upon arrival, embark on your first game drive en route to your lodge or tented camp. After lunch and some relaxation, enjoy an afternoon game drive before dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day in Samburu

Spend a full day immersed in the unique wildlife of Samburu. Look out for species like the oryx, gerenuk, Somali ostrich, Grevy’s zebra, and reticulated giraffe, found only in this region. Game drives along the Ewaso Nyiro River reveal a host of wildlife activity. Enjoy all meals and an overnight stay at your lodge or tented camp.

Day 3: Samburu to Nairobi

Opt for an early morning game drive before breakfast. Afterward, depart Samburu and journey back to Nairobi, with lunch en route. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon for an overnight stay at your hotel, where you can relax and enjoy dinner.

Day 4: Nairobi to Masai Mara

After breakfast, leave Nairobi for the Masai Mara. Drive through the Great Rift Valley to reach the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Known for the spectacular wildebeest migration and home to the Big Five, this reserve promises exciting wildlife encounters. After lunch at your camp, embark on an afternoon game drive to spot lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos. Return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Full Day in Masai Mara

Begin with an early breakfast before setting out on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. The Masai Mara, regarded as Kenya’s wildlife jewel, hosts a staggering variety of animals. Spot large herds of herbivores, cheetahs, and leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Mara River migration point, then continue your exploration before returning to camp for dinner.

Day 6: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, visit a Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience (for $10). Then, depart for Lake Naivasha with lunch in Narok. Upon arrival, take a boat trip on the lake (for $10) to see hippos and a variety of bird species. Capture stunning photos before heading back to your hotel for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Day 7: Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park

Have morning breakfast then visit to Hell’s Gate National Park, where you can hike, cycle, or drive while spotting wildlife. Afterward, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by a game drive. Search for leopards, rhinos, and thousands of flamingos. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park

Begin with an early morning game drive before breakfast. Afterward, depart for Amboseli National Park with a hot lunch in Nairobi. Arrive in Amboseli in the late evening, in time for a game drive if possible. The park is famous for its scenic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and open plains. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Full Day in Amboseli

After an early breakfast, head out with a packed lunch for a full day of game viewing. Search for predators and large herds of elephants against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue exploring before returning to your lodge for dinner.

Day 10: Amboseli to Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning breakfast, then check out and depart for 2 hours game drive then drive back to Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your return flight.
